We traveled down to Salisbury, CT, where Caleb
Woodworth lived (Walter>Benjamin>Caleb). We made no
genealogy progress, so we drove up to "Ore Hill", which
was the source of iron ore for early America. Here is a
view from a road somewhere in the vicinity of Ore
Hill. |

At Salisbury's city hall, there was a map showing a
"Woodworth Mansion" in the area of Ore Hill. We
think this is it. It was in the right area per the
map.
Wonder which Woodworth owned this mansion? |

We stopped for a very nice visit with cousin Susan and
Howard Moore in Tolland, MA. Their view out the back is
like a post card. (Susan is on the "Descendancy
Lines" page.) |
